   @ssmoogen, IIUC, NDA work was for chipset specs. #Cygnus signed those & pushed code upstream to GCC w/ permission from chipset vendors.

    @fontana, IMO #Cygnus' "you pay by num of phone calls we accept" is easily !GPL compliant (what does GPL care about when you answer phone?)

    @ssmoogen,ISTR #Cygnus had profitable "restriction by num of employees who can make support calls" model. #r0ml's hack broke that for #RHEL.
